SNOWDON
CADIAR IDRIS
Hiking Snowdon is an experience but flying from it goes one step further.
Rhyd-ddu and Llanberis is one of our easier routes, They both offer spectacular views, from start to finish.
Hike time is 2-2.5 hours depending on your fitness and experience.
We take multiple breaks, and there are plenty of photo opportunities.

TAKE OFF is just below the summit (3,460ft), flight time is 20-30 minutes depending on conditions. If conditions allow there is a chance to fly up to the clouds (See picture) But this isn't guaranteed.
The route we take will be dependent on the wind direction on the day of the expedition.
The Dinorwic Quarry is located in Llanberis, and is an old slate mine dating back to 1878.
This is our flag ship hike and fly expedition. The take off is located at around 2,400ft on top of the slate mine, just below Elidir Fawr.

We meet & Greet in a car park in Llanberis and go over a few details before we start our hike up through the quarry. We take multiple rest stops on the way up, and there is also a ton of photo opportunities for you to catch the amazing view throughout the quarry.
Once on top you rest and take in the views from 2,400ft while we prep for flight, Once we are ready we give you a take of brief then fly back down and land in Llanberis.
Cadair Idris is based on the southern end of the Snowdonia National Park.
We offer two routes up, the North route (Pony) will Takes us up the breath taking north face, and starts about quarter of the way up the mountain. We take off near the trig point then fly down the valley landing at Dollgellu Village.
The South route (Minffordd) takes

We offer two routes up, the North route (Pony) will Takes us up the breath taking north face, and starts about quarter of the way up the mountain. We take off near the trig point then fly down the valley landing at Dollgellu Village.
The South route (Minffordd) takes us up the south side, there are two ways to go, to the left via the horse shoe which is longer but easier, or up to the right which is faster but a little bit steeper. The take off is big and grassy, once rigged up we fly down south into the valley past the inactive volcano and landing near the lake.
Flight time is about 20-30 minutes.
Due to the nature of our sport you can not book for a specific date as we can not guarantee it will be flyable for the date you would like.
